# CannaSpyglass at MJBizCon 2025: Community, Data, and Real Connection

CannaSpyglass at [MJBizCon 2025](https://mjbizconference.com/) marked one of the most impactful weeks of the year for our team. From December 2–5, we were fully immersed in the cannabis industry’s largest annual gathering, balancing data-driven conversations, community-led events, and nonstop relationship-building across Las Vegas.

This year’s experience brought more than momentum—it brought people together. MJBizCon created space for in-person collaboration not only among our team, but with the clients, partners, and peers we work with throughout the year. Moving conversations off screens and onto the show floor strengthened trust, aligned priorities, and allowed for more honest, productive discussions about where the industry is headed and how better data can support smarter decisions.

Across four days, our focus stayed consistent: meet clients and partners face-to-face, support community-first initiatives, and invest in the relationships that move the cannabis industry forward.

 

# **Sponsored by CannaSpyglass: *Light Up Las Vegas***

The week kicked off on December 2 with [Light Up Las Vegas](https://www.fatnugsmag.com/light-up-las-vegas/), a pre-conference party hosted by [Fat Nugs Magazine](https://www.fatnugsmag.com/) and [PufCreativ](https://pufcreativ.com/). CannaSpyglass was proud to sponsor this event, which brought together operators, creatives, advocates, and leaders to celebrate cannabis culture and community ahead of the busy conference week.

*Light Up Las Vegas* quickly became one of the most talked-about events of the week. A central focus of the evening was [Freedom Grow](https://freedomgrow.org/), a nonprofit advocating for incarcerated individuals impacted by cannabis prohibition. The event balanced celebration with purpose, reinforcing the importance of justice, equity, and community alongside industry growth.

This opening night set the tone for CannaSpyglass at MJBizCon, blending advocacy-driven action with authentic connection.

 

# **Strengthening Relationships on the Show Floor**

During the week, the CannaSpyglass team spent time together on the MJBizCon expo floor—meeting clients at their booths, connecting with partners, and engaging in conversations across more than 600 exhibitors. It was nearly impossible to walk the floor without stopping for impromptu meetings, a clear reflection of the relationships we’ve built across the industry.

These face-to-face interactions provided valuable insight into what operators, vendors, and partners are experiencing in real time—from shifting market dynamics to evolving data needs—and reinforced the role CannaSpyglass plays as a trusted resource in an increasingly competitive landscape.

 

# **Beyond the Conference: Community and Connection Continue**

Some of the most meaningful conversations of CannaSpyglass at MJBizCon happened beyond the convention center. The team attended the [*Jews in Weed Bagel Bash*](https://www.instagram.com/jewsinweed/) at [Planet 13](https://planet13.com/stores/planet-13-dispensary), followed by PufCreativ’s *Breathe and Heal: Sound Healing Brunch*, which offered a restorative pause during an otherwise high-intensity week.

When the show floor closed, the team split to conquer MJBizCon's legendary after-party scene. Highlights included the [Dutchie & Partners MJBizCon After Party](https://business.dutchie.com/) at [AREA15](https://area15.com/), an immersive venue known for interactive art experiences by [Meow Wolf](https://meowwolf.com/), as well as [The Grasslands Party](https://www.mygrasslands.com/), an invite-only gathering centered on high-level networking.

Thursday night featured [CannaMGT](https://cannamgt.com/)’s Deck Confidential Party, followed by the [Emjays](https://www.theemjays.com/) Orchid Suite Afterparty, where industry excellence was celebrated with award announcements, food trucks, and nonstop conversation.

These gatherings were a fantastic way to de-stress from the intense expo floor and provided a more relaxed environment to bond with industry leaders and friends.
